Breastfeeding is a journey, and I’m here for you every step of the way.
Breastfeeding is a journey that many parents embark on without really knowing what to expect. It can take practice, perseverance, and perhaps most importantly—a calm, relaxed mindset. But let’s be honest, that can feel nearly impossible when you're recovering from birth, adjusting to life with a newborn, and running on little sleep. That’s why I trained with the Mindful Breastfeeding School, led by Anna Le Grange, IBCLC, to support mothers and their support network with breastfeeding.
A clear and centered mind plays a vital role in successful breastfeeding. When you’re informed, supported, and relaxed, both you and your baby benefit. I’m here to help you understand the basics, from how breastfeeding works to how it can work for you. We’ll explore position and attachment for baby, as well as guiding you through relaxation techniques to help you stay calm and confident, even when things feel overwhelming. And if anything falls outside my remit, I’ll ensure you’re signposted to the right support.
Whether you’re considering breastfeeding and want to learn more about it, or you’re currently breastfeeding and need support, take a look below to see how I can help.
