Motherhood wasn’t meant to be done alone.

Motherhood changes everything in an instant. One day you’re excitedly preparing your little one’s room and imagining life with your newborn. The next, you’re home with your baby in your arms — exhausted, emotional, and wondering what on earth do you do now!

We don’t talk about this enough.

Yes, there’s joy and amazement in those early weeks and months. But there’s also isolation, exhaustion, and guilt. Guilt for finding it hard. Guilt for missing your old life. Guilt for even admitting it.

And yet, you’re not alone. I don’t have the stats, but I’m pretty sure if we were honest with ourselves, we’ve all felt like this at some point during motherhood. The problem is that our society has forgotten the power of community for mums. Once, mums were surrounded by family and neighbours who supported them. Today, the visitors fade, partners return to work, and many mums are left to cope in silence.

That’s why I started The New Mum Nest.

It’s not a baby class. It’s not about milestones or sensory play. This is about you. It’s about creating a circle of women who get it — where you can laugh, cry, vent, or simply sit in peace. It’s a space to be seen, heard, and reminded that you are enough.

Because when mums come together, something shifts. Loneliness eases. Confidence grows. Mental and emotional wellbeing is strengthened. And most importantly, you realise you’re not failing — you’re just human.

The mums who have joined The New Mum Nest have already built connections. We’ve shared laughter, compassion, and understanding. A WhatsApp group means the friendships continue beyond the sessions, with meetups and ongoing conversations. Watching this grow has been incredible, and I’m grateful to be part of it.

The New Mum Nest is for every mum. Because connection benefits all of us. Whether you’re feeling low, a little isolated, bored, or simply craving adult conversation and new friendships, this is your space.

The New Mum Nest is your weekly reset. A place to put yourself first, even for an hour. To breathe, to share, and to feel part of something bigger than your four walls.

If you’re ready to find your Nest, I’d love to welcome you. You don’t need to have it all together — you just need to come as you are.
